Suggested Day Trips from Le Havre
Day Trip to Le Mont Saint Michel
A visit to this UNESCO World Heritage site is a highlight for many travellers. It is a longer drive from Le Havre, but our comfortable coaches make the journey pleasant. Upon arrival, your group can explore the medieval abbey and the surrounding bay. The journey between Le Havre and Mont Saint-Michel takes approximately 3 to 3 hours and 15 minutes. From the Mont Saint-Michel car park, your group will need to walk for around 5 minutes to catch the free shuttle bus, which will take them to the foot of the Mont in 15 to 20 minutes.
Day Trip to the D-Day Landing Beaches
Normandy is world-famous for the events of June 6, 1944. We organise dedicated transport to the key sites of the D-Day landings. Your group can visit Pointe du Hoc, walk the sands of Omaha Beach, and pay respects at the Normandy American Cemetery. These sites are spread out, making a private coach the most efficient way to see them all in a single day while respecting the solemnity of the visit.
Day Trip to Giverny and Rouen
For art and history lovers, we suggest a combined trip. Start with the famous gardens of Claude Monet in Giverny. Afterward, continue to the medieval city of Rouen to see the stunning cathedral painted by Monet and the place where Joan of Arc was martyred. If you are staying in Rouen, please note that we also hire coaches in Rouen.
Day Trip to Honfleur and Etretat
Discover the charm of the Normandy coast with a visit to Honfleur, with its picturesque old harbour, followed by the dramatic white cliffs of Etretat. These towns are relatively close to Le Havre, allowing for a relaxed pace. Using our services allows your group to enjoy the scenery without worrying about parking or navigation on narrow coastal roads.
